The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced today the 2026 Umrah season calendar, including dates and electronic services related to visa issuance, contracts, and receiving pilgrims. This is part of the Ministry's efforts to enhance operational efficiency, improve the pilgrims' experience, and increase the readiness of the Umrah system for the upcoming season.
According to the Umrah season calendar, Umrah visas will be issued and pilgrims will begin entering the Kingdom on Dhul Hijjah 14, 1447 AH (May 31, 2026). Pilgrims will be able to enter Makkah and obtain Umrah permits through the "Nusk" application starting Dhul Hijjah 15, 1448 AH (June 1). The last day for issuing Umrah visas will be Shawwal 1, 1448 AH (March 9, 2027), and the last day for pilgrims to enter the Kingdom will be Shawwal 15, 1448 AH (March 23, 2027).
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that the 30th of Shawwal 1448 AH, corresponding to April 7, 2027, will be the last date for the departure of Umrah pilgrims, calling on Umrah companies and external agents to adhere to the approved dates and instructions issued by the Ministry, with the aim of increasing the system’s ability to receive the guests of God and provide them with quality services during the season.
