There are men who write their names in the pages of history, and there are men who change the course of history itself. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was the man chosen by destiny at the most dangerous moment Egypt has ever faced—a time when it was confronting a real attempt to hijack it. He stood biased toward the will of his people, bearing full responsibility to reclaim the homeland.

Today, thirteen years after the June 30th Revolution, the years have proven that this moment was a turning point that restored balance to the Egyptian state, consolidated security and stability, and launched an unprecedented journey of construction and development. For this reason, documenting this phase is a national duty toward future generations.

When I attended the launch ceremony of the book "The Man of Destiny" a few days ago, I felt that I was participating in a moment where Egypt was reclaiming a part of its national memory, documenting a phase that will remain one of the most important in its modern history.

It is impossible to speak about this great work without standing in respect before Engineer Abdel Sadek El-Shorbagy, Chairman of the National Press Authority, who adopted the idea of publishing this book, sending a message that confirms that nations that document their history protect their future, and that the national press is an authentic partner in writing Egypt's history.

The great writer Hamdy Rizk deserves all praise and appreciation for the massive effort he put into gathering the scientific material for the book, selecting documents and testimonies, and formulating them into a cohesive work that combines historical accuracy with a graceful literary style. He succeeded in transforming dozens of testimonies and narratives into a book that the reader reads with passion, feeling through its pages that they are living the events all over again.

We must also remember the important role played by colleague Soha Ragab, who exerted great effort in preparing, formatting, and reviewing the book, ensuring it came out in such a sophisticated standard.

As for the book itself, "The Man of Destiny" did not present President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi from just one single angle; rather, it makes every writer approach a different side of the story. In the introduction written by Counselor Adly Mansour, we find the testimony of a man who was at the heart of events, recalling defining situations that shaped the features of a leader in highly sensitive moments of the state's history.

Then, writer Abdel Rahim Kamal takes us to the Gamaleya district to paint a picture of the house, the family, and the street where the personality was formed, emphasizing that the values on which the President was raised were the cornerstone of his character formation.

Major General Dr. Samir Farag talks about the military institution, considering it the school that shaped the personality and deeply rooted the values of discipline and commitment. Meanwhile, writer Adel Hammouda gathers multiple testimonies from public figures, providing the reader with different angles to understand the President's personality.

Thank you President El-Sisi, you saved Egypt and restored its stature.

All appreciation to the National Press Authority and to everyone who participated in this great work.
