The Israeli army allowed the publication of the names of 345 soldiers killed in its ranks since the start of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on October 7th.

The announcement of the new toll comes after the Israeli army revealed, the day before yesterday, Saturday, that 4 additional soldiers were killed in the Gaza Strip, indicating that 3 of them belonged to the “Givati” Brigade, one of the infantry brigades with purple berets, and the fourth was from the “Shaldag, an Israeli unit specializes in monitoring and gathering information.

This toll is rising daily, due to direct clashes with fighters from the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Hamas movement, and other Palestinian factions, in a number of axes in the northern Gaza Strip.

Despite the continuous and violent aerial bombardment and the ground incursion of the Israeli forces into the Gaza Strip, resistance faction fighters surprise the dismounted Israeli forces and engage with them from zero distance. They also target their vehicles with a number of anti-armor weapons, most notably the locally made “Al-Yassin” tandem missile.
