The Israeli army announced that it had begun attacking Hezbollah infrastructure in the southern suburbs of Beirut, stating that "more details will be released later."
On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces launched an attack on the city of Tyre, targeting a building. Israeli warplanes also struck the town of Barashit in the Bint Jbeil district, wounding a Lebanese soldier.
Earlier that day, the World Health Organization reported that "the death toll in Lebanon from Israeli shelling has reached 486, including 84 children and 44 women, and the number of wounded has reached 1,313, including 259 children and 280 women."
