Today, Friday, the Israeli army bombed targets that it says belong to the Lebanese Hezbollah, on the border between the two sides.

The Israeli army stated, in a military statement, today, Friday, that “after launching anti-tank missiles from Lebanese territory at Israeli military sites, the army forces responded to the locations of those who launched those missiles.

Earlier today, Friday, an Israeli army spokesman announced that his country’s forces were on alert on the border with Lebanon, amid escalating tensions with the Lebanese Hezbollah.

This coincides with what an Israeli official said today, Friday, that “Israeli protection for the residents of settlements in the north is mere plans on paper.”

Today, Friday, Israeli Army Radio quoted Moshe Davidovich, head of the Regional Council of the “Mete Asher” settlement in northern Israel, as saying that the Lebanese “Hezbollah” is present on the border fence between his country and Lebanon and that the settlers in the north are not well protected.
