The "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" announced that Iraqi armed groups attacked an American base in the Green Village area in southeastern Syria.
A statement issued by the "Iraqi Islamic Resistance" said: "The fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base in the Green Village in the depths of Syria, with a drone, which directly hit its target."
According to Al-Mayadeen TV-Alebanese satellite channel, revealed that two American military bases, Al-Shaddadi and Koniko, located in eastern and northeastern Syria, were also attacked.
Al-Mayadeen reported, citing sources, that the outcome of the attacks on the Conico base resulted in the deaths of American soldiers.
The US Army occupies 24 military bases and four points in Syria, and the bases are regularly attacked by drones and missiles.
The US military illegally controls areas in northern and northeastern Syria in the provinces of Deir ez-Zor, Hasakah, and Raqqa, where the largest oil and gas fields in Syria are located.
