In a special report published on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the prominent publication ‘The Hill’ examined the surging global support for the Provisional Government of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

This widespread international backing, centered on the strategic 10-point plan proposed by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, comes as the regime of Velayat-e Faqih reaches its inevitable end.

Amidst the ongoing external war that has decimated the regime’s military machine and security apparatus, and led to the death of Ali Khamenei, the prospect of a free and stable Iran under an organized alternative is more attainable than ever.

‘The Hill’ highlights that 600 lawmakers and prominent global figures have officially endorsed this initiative.

The Provisional Government’s plan outlines three immediate and primary objectives for managing the transition of sovereignty to the Iranian people: holding free and fair elections within a maximum of six months after the mullahs' overthrow, transferring power to the people's elected representatives, and establishing a democratic, non-nuclear republic in Iran.

Maryam Rajavi: "Peace and Freedom" is the Provisional Government’s Covenant for Iran’s Future

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi has emphasized that the vision of the Resistance and the Provisional Government is built upon two fundamental pillars: "Peace and Freedom," serving as the cornerstone for the country's reconstruction.

While the regional and external war is an objective reality that has dealt fatal blows to the regime's military structure, the Iranian Resistance consistently maintains that the legitimacy of change stems not from foreign intervention, but solely from the will of the Iranian people.

The certain overthrow of the Velayat-e Faqih regime by the people and the organized Resistance is the only path to ending crises and achieving lasting stability in the region and the world.

In this context, the Resistance Units inside the country, maintaining the highest level of cohesion and organization, are focusing their efforts on intelligence gathering, designing targeted strategic operations, and comprehensive preparation for the regime’s final collapse.

The Roadmap of the Resistance: No to Tyranny, Yes to Freedom and Peace

To further clarify this vision, ‘The Hill’ detailed the ten points of Maryam Rajavi’s plan, which serves as the democratic roadmap for tomorrow’s Iran:

1. Rejection of Velayat-e Faqih (The Mullahs' Absolute Rule): Emphasis on popular sovereignty based on universal suffrage and political pluralism.

2. Fundamental Freedoms: Guaranteeing freedom of speech, political parties, assembly, the press, and the internet. This includes the dissolution and dismantling of all repressive organs, including the IRGC, the terrorist Quds Force, plainclothes agents, the Ministry of Intelligence, the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, and all oppressive bodies in cities and universities.

3. Human Rights: Commitment to individual and social freedoms according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This includes the dissolution of censorship and inquisition apparatuses, seeking justice for massacred political prisoners, the prohibition of torture, and the total abolition of the death penalty.

4. Separation of Religion and State: Guaranteeing freedom of religions and denominations.

5. Gender Equality: Achieving full equality in political, social, and economic spheres, and guaranteeing the equal participation of women in political leadership. This includes the right to freedom of choice in clothing, marriage, divorce, education, and employment, and prohibits any exploitation of women under any pretext.

6. Judicial Independence: Establishing a judicial and legal system consistent with international standards, based on the principle of innocence, the right to defense, and public trials. This point emphasizes the full independence of judges and the abolition of the mullahs' laws and Revolutionary Courts.

7. Rights of Nationalities: Recognizing autonomy and removing double oppression from nationalities and ethnic groups, in line with the NCRI plan for the autonomy of Iranian Kurdistan.

8. Economic Justice: Providing equal opportunities in labor and employment within the framework of a free-market economy, and restoring the rights of workers, farmers, nurses, teachers, and retirees.

9. Environment: Protecting the environment and restoring resources destroyed during the current regime's rule.

10. Peace and Security: Establishing a non-nuclear Iran free of weapons of mass destruction and strengthening the foundations of regional and international peace and cooperation.

The end of the Velayat-e Faqih regime has arrived. With the death of Ali Khamenei and the disintegration of the infrastructure sustaining this government, the transfer of sovereignty to the Iranian people through the 10-point plan and the formation of a Provisional Government is the only clear, practical, and democratic path from decades of darkness toward freedom, peace, and national sovereignty.
