Egyptian-Russian Foundation Honors Builders of High Dam

The Egyptian-Russian Foundation for Culture and Science honored the builders of the High Dam on the 63rd anniversary of laying the foundation stone for the construction of the High Dam.

This came within the framework of the grand celebration that was organized at the Russian Cultural Center in Cairo in cooperation with the Association of Builders of the High Dam and the Egyptian Association of Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities.

Ahmed Samir, a representative of the Foundation, had distributed certificates of honor to the builders of the dam.

On his part, Sabri Al-Ashmawy, the President of the High Dam Builders Association, stated that this honor has a good impact on the hearts of the dam builders.

Al-Ashmawy thanked the head of the institution, Shadi Hussein Al-Shafei, and thanked Murad Jatin, the director of the Russian cultural centers, for sponsoring the celebration, as well as the Alumni Association, which is always keen to participate in the High Dam celebrations.

Gatin stressed that the High Dam celebration is the first activity of this year.

While Sherif Gad, the head of the Alumni Association, indicated that the celebration was more than wonderful, and it has always been supportive of the activity of the Association of Builders of the High Dam under its late president and founder, Hussein Al Shafei, who gave a lot for the activity.

Gad expressed his appreciation for the continuation of these traditions under the leadership of Shafei for the foundation.
