The European Union Delegation to Djibouti announced on Thursday that the Union will provide €135,000 in humanitarian aid to support ongoing repatriation operations for irregular migrants in the country.
The mission said, in a statement published by the European External Action Service on its official website, that the European funding aims to help the Djibouti Red Crescent Society provide emergency shelter, clean water, food, health support, protection services, and sanitation to more than 22,000 affected people.
