In 'Go & Vote' Hashtag, Celebrities Encourage Women to Vote in Senate Elections

The “Enty ElAham.” Initiative launched the hashtag #انزلى_وشاركى # ("Go & Vote) that is supported by many social media celebrities to encourage the women to vote in the senate elections. That is to emphasize on the importance of the woman’s participation in the political life by voting in the senate elections today and yesterday. The hashtag included some pictures of the supporting celebrities like Siham Saleh, Rana Arafa, Amira Gamal, Farah Ali, Ahmed Gamal, Farah Shaaban and Isel Khalid.

Dr. Rehab ElFakharany the initiative’s public relations manger announced the launching of an awareness campaign concurrently with the senate elections on social media.

Many celebrities took part in the campaign. And the campaign will continue during the election period to educate the public about the importance of this political step and strengthen the woman’s role in the senate elections specially since the woman is an established partner in the political life.

ElFakharany confirmed that a number of volunteers helped facilitate the elections for the voters by supervising the voters’ entry and achieving the social distancing. As well as spreading the coronavirus precautionary measures and giving away sanitizers and vitamins to strengthen the immunity.
