The death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,662 martyrs and 171,428 wounded since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
Medical sources reported on Tuesday that two citizens were martyred and nine others were wounded by Israeli fire and shelling in the past 24 hours. A number of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them.
The same sources indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 488, and the total number of injuries to 1,350, while 714 bodies have been recovered.
They also noted the death of 12-day-old infant Haitham Abu Qass from Bureij at Rantisi Hospital due to the extreme cold, bringing the number of infant deaths due to the cold since the beginning of winter to 11.
