Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Strip has risen to 72,961 martyrs and 173,092 wounded since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
The same sources, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), reported that Gaza Strip hospitals received four martyrs in the past 48 hours, including two new deaths, one who succumbed to his wounds, and one whose body was recovered, in addition to 49 wounded.
They indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 951, and the total number of injuries has risen to 2,984, while 782 bodies have been recovered.
They explained that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them so far.
