Warner Bros. altered Monday the release schedule for many of its upcoming movies including, the highly-anticipated movie “The Batman”, “The Sopranos” prequel, and titled “The Many Saints of Newark”.

“The Batman,” co-starring Robert Pattinson and directed by Matt Reeves, was slated for debut on June 25, 2021, however, now has been slated for premiere in theaters on October 1, 2021.

Furthermore, Warner Bros. also pushed “The Many Saints of Newark” from September 25, 2020, to March 12, 2021.

The studio also rescheduled the release dates of DC superhero movies, “The Flash” which has been moved forward a month and is now slated to premiere on June 2, 2022, instead of July 1.

Moreover, “Shazam 2”, the sequel to the 2019’s DC film “Shazam “, is scheduled to hitting the big screen seven months later than its original date, which will now be released on November 4, 2022, after it was slated to be released on April 1.

Warner Bros. is maintaining release dates for Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” (July 17) and its “Wonder Woman” sequel (August 14) for the time being.

Numerous movies have been forced to halt production due to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as movie theaters across the world have been shut down because of the global health crisis, which caused studios to reshuffle movies expected to be released in 2020 to further dates and beyond.

It is worth mentioning that the World Health Organization (WHO) declared coronavirus a global pandemic on March 11 as the new virus has rapidly spread to more people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

The novel coronavirus, which was first reported in Wuhan, China, has infected more than one million people and killed over 171,796 worldwide. It also hit a number of celebrities and top political figures around the world.

Transmission of viruses between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough.

It can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose or eyes. It is known that older people appear to be more vulnerable to the effects of the emerging virus.

The virus caused complete paralysis in all activities and events with large gatherings worldwide due to concerns over the spread of the virus.
