Designers Behind Celebs Fashion Looks at CIFF’s Opening Ceremony

The 42nd edition of the Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) kicked off Wednesday evening, amid the attendee of celebrities who dazzled the red carpet with their elegant and sophisticated looks.

The designs reflected the superiority of the Egyptian designers as the clothing was presented with the elegance of the international lines as well as with a special, modest taste.

Sara Onsi & her designes

Onsi, an Egyptian designer who became famous a few years ago for her haute couture fashion and style that was more close to the 30s era.

Her designs, which were seen at the Milan Fashion Week last March, are a mixture of sophistication, elegance, and trendy at the same time.

Many celebrities were spotted in her designs at the CIFF opening, including Amina Khalil, Ola Roshdy, Randa Riad, Hana Shiha, Riham Abdel Ghafour, and Yosra El Lozy.

Thus, Onsi is the most designer whose designs were seen on the CIFF red carpet. There is no doubt that all of her designs were remarkable as was noticed with Roshdy's dress that featured a mixture of simple and naughty, and Khali's elegant dress.

Meanwhile, Abdel Ghafour, who is a judge at CIFF“Cinema of Tomorrow – International Competition for Short Films” went for a glamorous style, and El Lozy, who is also a judge at the festival’s “Horizons of Arab Cinema” competition, chose a black design that befits her post and matches her love for simplicity, which was clear with her makeup and bun hairstyle.

There is no doubt that the international Egyptian designer has a special imprint, and there is no doubt that December is always connected with his fashion show.

Many celebrities shined in El Behairy’s designs, including Laila Elwy, Dalia El Behairy, Eman Elassi, and Lebleba.

The designer also presented new and different styles and introduced trendy designs, but in his perspective, which was featured in his designs for Elwy and Elassi that was very simple and elegant at the same time.

El Behairy chose velvet fabric for Elwy’s design, which gave her remarkable thinness and graceful look.

The velvet is one of the trendy fabrics this winter.

Mahran, an Egyptian designer whose designs wowed at the red carpet of many festivals, most recently at the 4th edition of El Gouna Film Festival.

Actress, Basma, and TV and Radio host Inji Ali dazzled in unique looks from her designs at CIFF red carpet.

Abdelhak Mohamed & his designes

Syrian actress Jumana Murad graced the red carpet with a design by Mohamed, an Egyptian designer who presented an attractive and sophisticated design that drew attention to her.

Thus, CIFF succeeded in being a platform that showcased the creativity of the Egyptian fashion designers.
