The 30th of June people’s revolution is regarded as the biggest and largest uprising in the history of humanity as over 20 million citizens flooded the streets in rebellion against the radical Brotherhood Group’s policies.

The Egyptian Army, which is also considered the people’s shield against injustice, stepped in to re-take control of matters before the state would enter into a violent turmoil.

Current president, who was the minister of defense at the time, took it upon himself to gather all the nation’s symbols in order to depose of then president Mohamed Morsi in order to preserve the state’s security.

Even though, the Egyptian government led by El-Sisi had a hard time fixing the damage done during the brotherhood’s reign, the armed forces was being rebuilt in order to combat the changes in the region as the Middle East was literally on fire with several neighboring Arab states plunging into complete chaos.

Egypt faced lots of external challenges as well as internal ones. As a result the army stepped up rebuilding their ground, naval and air forces.
