Terrorists Attack Checkpoint in El-Arish

Lieutenant Omar al-Qadi from (CSF) SOF was martyred today, with a number of soldiers in a terrorist attack on (Batallion-14) at a security checkpoint south of El-Arish city.

According to security sources, the terrorist attacks targeted three checkpoints on the Ring Road south of El-Arish city.

A number of terrorist elements who attacked security checkpoint were killed by RDF and the Air Force.

The security forces and the army, in cooperation with the air force, intervened this time quickly, pursued and besieged the terrorist elements who attacked the security checkpoint point.

Noteworthy, one of the terrorists was wearing an explosive belt armed with a detonator. In a photo, he is seen while his thumb is on a button of a remote to blow off a checkpoint. He was killed by the police forces before he set it off.
