CAIRO, Dec. 29 (SEE)- The contemptible terrorist attack that took place on Friday in the Giza Governorate, resulting in the death of 2 tourists and the injury of 10 others, reflects the extent of the assault imposed on terrorist organizations by the security forces.

The primitive bomb used in the attack confirms that terrorists have been denied access to weapons. The attack also reveals that the terrorists' sources of funding have dried up and the estimates of their affiliates have declined.

It is challenging for any country that is targeted by terrorism, especially a country the size of Egypt, to eliminate this phenomenon in a brief period, however, the effectiveness of Egyptian security forces have made terrorism stagger, attempting, by all means, to prove its survival.

In spite of the suffering and pain prompted by the attack, there are bright aspects that have developed around such unpleasant incidents.

The most prominent of these aspects was the Egyptians rallying around their armed forces and police. The aftermath of the attack established a belief that Egypt's development strikes radicals with fear, provoking them to attempt to undermine the stability of the country, which is the cornerstone of any development.

The Egyptians, therefore, renewed their support for President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to resume his plans of fighting terrorism and achieving growth at the same time.

It is quite evident that Egypt will be able to defeat radicalism through a carefully planned security program, which succeeded in countering terrorism, and the insistence of Egyptians to root out the phenomenon.

Meanwhile, Egypt calls upon all the countries to collaborate in the fight against terrorism. It can only be successful through the adoption of a single vision, which was presented by Sisi at the United Nations platform.

Radical Ideologies and terrorist attacks cannot cast a shadow over a civilized nation.
