Egypt's Telecom company said that customers will not need to change or replace their phone sim cards to operate 5G communications technology services.
The company called on startups and entrepreneurs to cooperate with Telecom Egypt (we) and develop applications for fifth generation technology.
On another level, the company's CEO pointed out that the company complies with environmental sustainability standards in operating telecommunications service sites.
He stressed that Telecom Egypt currently has 40 MHz frequencies in various areas and does not currently need additional ones to operate 5G service, indicating that the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has notified all operators of the new license.
