Iran's Tasnim News Agency, quoting an informed Iranian source, reported that Tehran has not yet agreed to a second round of negotiations with Washington.
The source noted that Tehran perceives Washington as having put forward "excessive demands" during the recent exchange of messages.
The report emphasized that Tehran insists on the absence of such demands as a primary condition for continuing negotiations, asserting that it has no desire to waste time in fruitless, attritional talks.
According to the agency, Tehran has officially communicated its conditions to Washington through the Pakistani mediator, further notifying the U.S. side of its refusal to proceed with a second round of talks via the same diplomatic channel.
