The Tasnim News Agency reported the cancellation of flights in western Iran indefinitely until further notice.
This comes as Mohammad Baqer Zolfaghari, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, confirmed that Tehran's response to Israel is forthcoming and that the Islamic Republic's red lines will not be violated.
Zolghadiari wrote on social media: "The unity of the battlefields has created a security chain to defend the region," adding, "Lebanon is our soul, and the red lines of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not be violated."
Israeli occupation forces attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Lebanese capital, resulting in three martyrs and several wounded, according to initial reports. Lebanese media outlets reported that several missiles struck the Ghadir Square in Beirut's southern suburbs.
