Zamalek's doctor Mohamed Osama confirmed on Sunday that the White Knights' midfielder Tarek Hamed recovered form coronavirus.

Osama said that Hamed will undergo another PCR test after 48 hours to determine his return to Zamalek's training sessions.

It is worth mentioning that Hamed contacted coronavirus last week.

Meanwhile, Zamalek's left back Abdallah Gomaa tested positive for coronavirus for the second time in less than one month.

Gomaa had announced on December 15 that he recovered from the respiratory disease.

Ahead of the CAF Champions League final, the White Knights left back tested positive for coronavirus.

The 24-year-old player will be ruled out of the White Knights' clash against Smouha in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.

On his part, Zamalek's doctor Mohamed Osama said that Gomaa will undergo another PCR test to make sure of his infection.

The Whites' players underwent three coronavirus swabs as the first and the second one came negative, while the third one came positive.
