Tamer Hosny's Belongings to Be Auctioned off for Charity

Egyptian superstar, Tamer Hosny will donate some of his famous belongings at a charity auction in Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on December 6.

Among the items being donated are his guitar from "Omar and Salma" 2007 film, jacket from his 2018 film 'El badla' (The Suit), in addition to clothes from his other films, "The Voice" program, concerts, and the suit he wore at his handprint ceremony at Hollywood's Iconic Chinese theatre.

The charity auction, considered to be the most important and largest of its kind in the Middle East, revenue will be allocated for the welfare of Arab children.

Moreover, Hosny is scheduled to receive one of the biggest international awards, "Guinness World Records", given only to the most inspiring and influential artists in the world, on December 6.

On the other hand, the superstar is scheduled to perform live on New Year’s Eve at Al Maryah Island, in Abu Dhabi, on December 31st.

He took to his social media accounts to announce his upcoming concert saying: “Celebrate NYE 2020 on @almaryahisland with live performance by @tamerhosny”

He is currently waiting for the premiere of his new film “Al Falous” (Money), which will be released in 2020.

Hosny, born in 1977 in Cairo, is an Egyptian singer, composer, actor, producer, songwriter, and author.

The 42-year-old began his career when renowned TV presenter “Salma Al Shamaa”, who gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House.

During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer ‘Nasr Mahrous’.

Ever since, he worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently, achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry.

He made his acting debut in 2004 film “Halet Hob”, co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others.

Hosny is known for singing “Kol Mara”, “Bent El Eh” and “Aktar Haga”, and for his roles in films “Omar and Salma” trilogy and “Captin Hema”.

He performed many shows in Egypt and other Arab countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Dubai, and Jordan.
