Superstar، Tamer Ashor، announced his engagement to 2019 Miss universe Dareen Helmi yesterday night in an intimate family ceremony.
The attendees included the couple’s parents, family and friends.
The news came as a surprise to many, given that the two were linked to a love story before.
The couple is set to hold their wedding party at the end of the current year.

Tamer Ashor is an Egyptian singer and composer، who began his career as a composer working for major contemporary musicians.
He released his album Sa'ab (Difficult) in 2006، which included material he'd recorded prior to 2006 as well as new music.
At the beginning of 2011، Ashor released Leia nazrah، was a success both in the summit sales cassette market and on the Internet.
In the same year, he began military service. Once he had finished military service he began working on a fourth album، at the end of 2013.
From 2004 to 2011 he released more than 17 songs and 4 albums. Following that Tamer made his first debut in cinema.
He is known for singing "Zikrayat Kaddaba"، "Ekhtarna Leh"، "Thania Wahda"، and "Enta Ekhtart".
Ashour’s latest song “Ayam” (Days) recently uploaded on his official YouTube channel exceeded a million views in less than 16 hours.
On March 2018, Ashor، separated from his wife، Samar Abu Shaka، after a six-month marriage.
