President’s Advisor for Health and Prevention Affairs Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El Din said on Sunday that the Egypt gave a million vaccine doses until now.

He added that the state didn’t record any serious or unexpected side effects in vaccinated people, continuing that all observed side effects are normal such as exhaustion.

The president’s advisor asserted that every vaccinated person received a sheet to add his contact for further medical observation after vaccination.

Egypt has started its nation-wide vaccination campaign against COVID-19 by vaccinating medical crews in all isolation hospitals and medical institutions, followed by opening the registration of people who suffer from critical medical conditions and elders.

Shortly, vaccination became available for all Egyptians above 18 years old.
