Tag El Din Says 3 Cases "Not Allowed" to Use Molnupiravir

The Presidential Advisor for Health Affairs Mohamed Award Tag El Dib said that they are three cases that shouldn't take COVID-19 oral treatment, Molnupiravir, Al Ain reported on Friday.

His statements came during an interview with local magazine.

Tag El Din said that Molnupiravir is now available in hospitals and Coronavirus treatment spots.

In January bvthe Latest approved COVID-19 drug Molnupiravir will be available in all Egyptian pharmacies soon.

George Maher, the head of the marketing department at Egyptian drug maker Eva Pharma, highlighted that the firm is one of the earliest producers of Molnupiravir in the whole world.

The price of the 40-hard-capsule box will be around EGP 624 ($ 40), and it is the required dose for five days.

Patients will be required to have four capsules of the medicine in the day, and the same dose should be repeated at night.

Maher explained also that the medicine is now available at the pharmacies at public hospitals to make sure of its availability for those who really need it as this medicine is produced only in the US, and the UK, alongside Egypt.
