Syria's President Bashar al-Assad issued a legislative decree granting a general amnesty for terrorist crimes committed by Syrians before April 30th, except for crimes that led to the death of a person.
The decree stipulated, as reported by the official Syrian News Agency (SANA) today, Saturday, “a general amnesty for terrorist crimes committed by Syrians before 2022, except for those that led to the death of a human being stipulated in the Anti-Terrorism Law of 2012 and the Penal Code issued by the legislative decree of the year 2012.” 1949 and its amendments.
