Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the centrality of the Palestinian cause and the risks of escalating Israeli aggression across the region.
The discussion took place on Monday, in Riyadh on the sidelines of the extraordinary Arab and Islamic summit.
The leaders discussed the importance of holding the summit amid increasing Israeli aggression against certain countries in the region and the need to implement the outcomes of this summit, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
They also reviewed bilateral relations between Syria and Saudi Arabia and ways to strengthen them in service of their shared interests.
