Syrian President Bashar al-Assad received, on Sunday, an official invitation from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed to attend the COP28 Climate Conference, which will be held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12, Syrian News Agency reported, on Monday.
Chargé d'Affaires of the UAE Embassy, Abdul Hakim Al-Nuaimi, handed the invitation to the Syrian President, SANA added.
