Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa has decided to postpone his visit to Berlin, which was scheduled for today, Monday, due to the internal political situation in Syria, German media outlets reported.
President al-Sharaa was set to meet with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and several federal ministers.
The visit also included planned discussions with German business leaders to address the repatriation of Syrian refugees and the reconstruction of the country.
