Syrian Air Defence intercepted Israeli aggression on sites in the central and coastal regions on Monday, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
SOHR had stated that air defences were intercepting "hostile targets" over the countryside after massive explosions were heard over Homs and the coastal city of Tartous.

Accordingly, two soldiers were injured and there were some material losses, according to the Syrian military. The military also added that the attack came from north of Beirut and that air defences managed to shoot down most of the missiles used.
Furthermore, media outlets reported that a Lebanese woman was hurt during the explosion, adding that a number of houses in Lebanon were slightly damaged.
Such attacks often happen as the Israeli army strikes in Syria aimed at ending the entrenched Iranian military presence in the country.
