Syrian Air Defenses Intercept Israeli Missiles - SANA

The Syrian air defense forces intercepted on Tuesday an Israeli missile attack, carried out from Lebanese airspace, on land facilities south of the capital, Damascus, SANA news agency reported.

The agency quoted a military source as saying that the attack on facilities south of Damascus and central Syria began at around 23:36 pm, adding that the Syrian air defense forces opened fire on air targets and were able to shoot down several missiles.

"The Israeli aggressive action resulted in nothing but property damage," the source added.

on May 5, previous Israeli missile attack took place and targeted military installations southwest of the city of Latakia, getting one person  killed and six others injured, including a mother and child.
