The Syrian government has issued a formal condemnation of recent drone strikes targeting government buildings and residential areas in Aleppo, denouncing them as terrorist actions that endanger civilians and undermine agreed security arrangements.
In an official statement, Damascus described the attacks as clear violations of existing agreements and linked them to ongoing instability in the region. The Foreign Ministry stressed that such hostile operations highlight the need for recent security measures in parts of Aleppo aimed at restoring order and reinforcing state authority.
The government held those responsible fully accountable and said it will pursue legal and criminal action to ensure justice for crimes committed against civilians and state institutions. It also urged the international community to condemn the strikes and support Syria’s efforts to counter terrorism and bolster security and stability nationwide.
Officials reiterated that efforts to protect citizens and maintain internal security will continue uninterrupted, affirming that state institutions are committed to safeguarding all communities within Syrian territory.
