On Sunday, Switzerland applied daylight saving time for 2025.
It applies daylight saving time on the last Sunday of March and lifts it on the last Sunday of October, according to the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology.
This year's daylight saving time will be applied between March 30 to October 26.
Thus, standard time will be applied again from that date.
Since 1996, all European Union countries and Switzerland have agreed to move their clocks forward by one hour on the last Sunday of March and move them back by one hour on the last Sunday of October.
However, this system is not universally agreed upon, as critics argue that it disrupts the biological clock of both humans and animals.
