"Sweet Tooth" takes place in a post-apocalyptic world impacted by a strange and deadly virus, where half-human half-animal hybrids are born.
The series stars Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Naledi Murray, Adeel Akhtar, Aliza Vellani, Stefania LaVie, Dania Ramirez, Neil Sandilands, and Will Forte, with James Brolin serving as the narrator.
Jim Mickle serves as showrunner as well as executive producer along with Susan Downey, Robert Downey Jr., Amanda Burrell, and Linda Moran.
Beth Schwartz, who served as executive producer on Season 1 and co-showrunner with Mickle, will depart ahead of Season 2 as planned.
This comes after 60M viewers streamed the fantasy drama in its first four weeks following its June 4 launch. The series ranked No. 6 on the streamer’s list of most-watched English-language original series, ahead of "Emily in Paris" and just below "The Queen’s Gambit".
"Sweet Tooth" Season 2 does not currently have a premiere date.
