Swedish Church Bells Toll to Mark Mubarak's Death 

The Royal Riddarholme Church bells toll in the center of the Swedish capital, Stockholm, to mark the death of former President Hosni Mubarak.

American Radio Sawa reported that, in 1986, Mubarak had obtained the Royal Order of the Seraphim with the rank of Knight.

Also, the Swedish royal court, told Dagens Nyheter newspaper that the bureau does not take a position on the actions of the bearer of the Medal but rather only follows the customs of the royal court.

The Royal Seraphim Shield was founded by the Swedish King Friedrich I in 1748.

It is worth noting that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi led today a military funeral of Mubarak, who passed away at the age of 91 in Al-Galaa Military Hospital.

Mubarak served as a commander in the Egyptian Air Force from 1972-1975, before becoming president following the assassination of former President Anwar Sadat.

Despite the January revolution, which outset Mubarak, Egyptians still regard the former president as a war hero for serving as a commander of the Egyptian Air Force during the October War.

It is worth noting that Mubarak served as an Egyptian Air Force officer in various units, and an Air Force Academy instructor up until 1959.
