Supply Ministry Denies Removing Citizens from Ration Card System

The Cabinet's Media Center denied reports concerning the exclusion of citizens from the ration card system.

The center said in a statement issued on Thursday that it contacted the Ministry of Supply, which denied such reports and described them as baseless.

The ministry stated that removing any citizen from the ration card system is carried out according to specific and precise criteria.

It pointed out that it is currently working on revising the lists of ration card holders to ensure that the support reaches only those who really deserve it.

The center called on all media outlets to seek accuracy before publishing any false information that would provoke public disorder.
