Supercars maintenance costs much

People sometimes think that supercars do not need maintenance because of their power. But the cost of their maintenance is very expensive.

For an example, the Bugatti Veyron, which price is more than $1.7 million, needs $20,000 to $25,000 to change their oil only that equals EGP355,000 to EGP445,000! These amounts of money are enough to buy a new car here.

The expensive cost comes because the Veyron uses a dry-sump oiling system with 16 different drain plugs, accessible after removing parts of the underbody and car's rear fender liners in a complicated way, a matter which could take hours to do it.

It is recommended to change the Veyron's oil once a year including changing all the liquids in the cars to give its best performance.

Automobiles Ettore Bugatti was a French car manufacturer of high-performance automobiles, founded in 1909 in the then German city of Molsheim.

The company struggled financially after the end of the WW2 and released one last model in the 1950s.

Bugatti had recently released its new model "Divo". The company said that it is the most agile and dynamic car has ever created.

Bugatti announced that it will produce only 40 will be made, at €5 million each (EGP103 million), and it’s sold out.

The car power output is 1,103/1,500 hp at 6,700 rpm max. It can reach 100 km/h in only 2.4 seconds.

“The Divo is made for corners,” Bugatti President Stephan Winkelmann said.
