Super Eagles Name Final Squad for 2019 AFCON

Eleven- days before the AFCON, Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr named on Sunday his 23-man final squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nations.

The French coach excluded Leicester City Forward Kelechi Iheanacho and Semi Ajayi, who plays for Rotherham United, England from his 23-man squad.

The Super Eagles, picked in Group B alongside Guinea, Madagascar, and Burundi, will head to Alexandria governorate, Egypt on Sunday. They will start their match against Burundi at Alexandria Stadium on June 22 at 19:00 pm (CLT).

It worth mentioning that Egypt will host the upcoming AFCON from June 21 till 19 July. The hosts will play the opening match against Zimbabwe at Cairo Stadium on June 21 at 22:00 pm (CLT).
