Sunday Weather… Cairo 20C, Rainfall Expected in Alexandria

Experts of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predict moderate weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern Upper Egypt as well as the Eastern and Northeastern Coasts, during daylight hours on Sunday.

Meanwhile, warm weather will prevail in the Northwest Coast, South Sinai, and Southern Upper Egypt.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at the General Authority of Meteorology, revealed that light and moderate rains will hit El Salloum, Marsa Matrouh, Alexandria, Rasheed, and Baltim, at intermittent periods.

Light and moderate rain are also predicted to prevail in  El Beheira, Kafr El-Sheikh, and Dakahlia.

Winds are expected to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Eastern coasts, North Upper Egypt, and South Sinai.

Meteorologists also predict that cold weather will prevail in the Northern coasts and South Sinai, at night.

Meanwhile, extremely cold weather will prevail in Cairo, and Lower Egypt, as well as the North and South Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 20C in Cairo, 17C in Alexandria, 17C in Marsa Matruh, 21C in Sohag, 22C in Qena, and 22C in Aswan.

Egypt is currently facing a wave of bad weather. The bad spell will witness a decrease in temperature, rainfall, which varies from light to medium, and wind activity.
