British Prime Minister (PM) Rishi Sunak said that work is currently being done to impose a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and achieve a humanitarian truce that allows the release of detainees and the entry of aid.
British Prime Minister added: "No one has an interest in a temporary ceasefire in Gaza and then returning to fighting again and not releasing the detainees."
“Every effort must be made to deliver aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip to alleviate their suffering," Sunak continued.
