The new edition of the summit of the Group of Seven ( G7 )launches tomorrow in Cornwall in the southwest of the United Kingdom (UK).

The Group of Seven (G7) is an informal club of wealthy democracies consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States

Boris Johnson, UK Primes Minister (PM) has tweeted that he arrived in Cornwall hours before this year's G7 summit.

He indicated that he will ask his fellow leaders to rise the challenge of beating the pandemic and to build a new greener, fairer better world.

Johnson expected that the meetings will be busier due to the thorny files on the table.

The upcoming summit the first meeting in person of heads of states of the leading seven economies in the world.

They did convene throughout the last two years because of the Coronavirus.

The conference runs from June 11 through 13.

The leaders are going to debate numerous files including the common challenges such as the Corona pandemic, vaccination against the deadly virus, climate change, educating girls, and collective security of the members in addition to some important geopolitical themes.

The Telegraph, a UK daily newspaper, said that the summit poses a chance for Boris  Johnson to concentrate on the special relationship between the USA and the UK  during his meeting with Biden on Thursday afternoon.

On the other hand, the UK  Times mentioned that Johnson will bid to persuade the other leaders to adopt a new plan to cope with climate change by aiding the underdeveloped nations to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to solve the problem of global heating.

It added the UK Premier seeks to reach consent on supporting projects of renewable energy in both Africa and Asia.

This proposal may be implemented like the Marshal plan sponsored by the USA to reconstruct Europe after years of the  Second World War (WWII)

US President Joe Biden will appear in the meeting over his first trip abroad since he came to power last January.
