Summer has just started and with the world slowly going back to normal after the coronavirus pandemic, it is time we work on our bodies, so, here are 10 poses to tone your body this summer :
1. Downward-Facing Dog:
The downward-facing dog is the most widely recognized yoga pose. It works on stretching the shoulders, hamstrings, calves, toning the arms and legs.

2. Upward-Facing Dog:
The upward-facing dog is a back-bending pose that improves the posture, stretches the chest, shoulders and abdomen in addition to strengthening the spine, arms and buttocks.

3. Plank:
The plank is an isometric pose that works on toning your deltoids, abdominal wall and quadriceps.

4_Tree pose
The tree pose is a balancing pose that stretches the chest, shoulders, inner thighs and groin. It also strengthens the thighs, calves and spine.

5. Bridge:
The bridge is an inverted back-bending pose that strengthens the upper back, glutes and hamstrings.

6. Boat Pose:
The boat pose is a seated pose that works on strengthening the abdomen, back, neck, hamstrings and quadriceps.

7. Warrior 1:
The warrior 1 is a standing yoga pose that stretches the chest, shoulders, neck, belly and groin. Besides toning the arms, shoulders, back, thighs and calves.

8. Child’s Pose:
The child’s pose is a kneeling pose that works on stretching the hips, thighs and ankles. In addition to releasing the tension in the back, shoulders and chest.

9. Chair Pose:
The chair pose is a low squatting pose that stretches the chest and shoulders besides strengthening the spine, thighs and calves.

10. Locust Pose:
The locust pose is reclining back-bending pose that works on stretching the shoulders, chest, belly and thighs. It also works on strengthening the spine, buttocks and the backs of the arms and legs, in addition to improving the posture and engaging the abdominal muscles.
