Sultan of Oman Haitham Bin Tariq will arrive in Cairo on Sunday, at the head of a high-level delegation, upon an official inviation from Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
It is considered Oman Sultan's 1st visit to Cairo since taking office in 2020.
Earlier, The Diwan of the Royal Court issued a statement about this historic visit.
The statement shed light on depth of the fraternal and historical relations between Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman, explaining that Sultan Haitham's visit is an affirmation of the keenness of both countries' leaderships to strengthen those solid ties between them.
The court statement confirmed that the activities of the visit include consultation and coordination between the two leaderships, in a way that contributes to strengthening joint Arab action and discussing various developments on the regional and international arenas.
Both leaders are set to discuss all aspects of cooperation that would raise bilateral relations to levels that meet the desired goals in all fields, to reach results that serve the common interests of the two countries.
