Suez Canal Authority Keen to Open New Horizons for Cooperation with S. Korea

Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Osama Rabie affirmed the Suez Canal Authority’s keenness to open new horizons for cooperation and contribute to the consolidation of bilateral relations between Egypt and South Korea on the economic and commercial levels.

The Suez Canal Authority stated - in a statement Friday that this came during a meeting between the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea, to discuss ways to strengthen future cooperation in areas of common interest 

The SCA chairman pointed to the efforts of the Suez Canal to make the expected cooperation successful to build environmentally friendly marine units to work for the authority, in addition to Building a fueling station with natural gas and converting some of the Authority’s ferries and marine units to operate on natural gas, in line with the Authority’s direction to advertise itself “Green Canal” and contributing to the transfer of advanced technology in partnership with Korean side.
