The former King of Egypt, Ahmed Fouad II, extended his sincere thanks and respect to the officials in Alexandia for the warm reception in the governorate, following his 3-day visit.
The Regional Authority for the Promotion of Tourism stated - in a statement Friday - that this came during a commemorative speech that was recorded in the book of VIP visitors at the historic Alexandria Stadium. “Fouad” said - in his message - “I was pleased and honored to visit the Alexandria Stadium, and in particular, the room of my grandfather, King Fouad I, and the room’s collection of pictures, newspapers, and collectibles.”
During the visit, the former King of Egypt was keen to conduct an inspection tour inside the stadium’s corridors, where he inspected the opening area of the stadium in which the marble plaque, the royal cabin, and the royal hall are located, and reviewed the memorabilia of the Alawite family in it.
As the former King of Egypt expressed his happiness in learning about the possessions of his ancestors present in the stadium. He also expressed his happiness at the warm reception received for him and his honorable family.
