Sudan Sovereign Council Chairman, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, is expected to attend the 2nd Russian-African summit scheduled for the end of this month, Sudanese embassy in Moscow announced on Saturday.
"We confirm that work is underway to prepare for the visit of Head General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, within the framework of the Russian-African summit," the embassy added.
Moreover, it explained that interaction with Moscow will continue "in spite of any events.
"The Russian Federation is our strategic partner, and no events can harm our relations with Russia," it stressed.
