Sudan's annual inflation rate remained above 200% in October, official data showed on Thursday.
Annual inflation reached 211.48% in October, compared with 215.52% in September and 218.18% in August, according to Sudan's Central Bureau of Statistics showed.
The general consumer price index (CPI) for October rose 4.50% from September, the agency said in a statement.
Annual consumer price inflation in urban areas reached 175.17%, while it reached 236.49%in rural areas, the statement added.
Sudan erupted into war in April 2023 as a result of a power struggle between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces ahead of a planned transition to civilian rule, causing the world's largest displacement crisis.
The United Nations says about 25 million people, half of Sudan's population, need aid as famine spreads in camps for the displaced and 11 million have fled their homes. About three million of these refugees have sought refuge in other countries.
