General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, departed for Cairo today, Monday, in response to an invitation from President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to participate in the World Urban Forum.
He was seen off at Port Sudan Airport by Transitional Sovereignty Council member Abdullah Yahya and the Council’s Secretary-General, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Youssef, according to the official page of the Transitional Sovereignty Council on Facebook.
The Sovereignty Council Chairman is accompained by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin and General Intelligence Director General Ahmed Ibrahim Mofadal.
