The Sudanese Armed Forces reported new battlefield developments, including the expulsion of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) units from wide areas across the Kordofan region, as military operations continue in several parts of the country.

According to a military statement, Sudanese forces carried out coordinated ground and air operations that resulted in the removal of RSF fighters from multiple strategic locations. The statement indicated that the operations formed part of an ongoing campaign aimed at restoring control over contested territories.

The army also reported the destruction of strategic RSF drones inside Nyala Airport in South Darfur, describing the strikes as part of intensified efforts to disrupt RSF operational capabilities.

Air raids reportedly targeted key positions and infrastructure used by RSF forces in both Darfur and Kordofan.

Fighting between the Sudanese army and the RSF has persisted since April 2023, with Kordofan and Darfur remaining among the most heavily affected regions by ongoing military confrontations.
