"Sky News Arabia" sources and eyewitnesses stated that the Sudanese army carried out intense air raids targeting the areas where the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are stationed in Khartoum.

Eyewitnesses told "Sky News Arabia" that the aerial bombardment focused on the vicinity of the Presidential Palace, the General Command of the army, and Obaid Khatim Street in the Sudanese capital.

Sources also indicated that "the firing of ground anti-aircraft missiles continued in the Kafouri neighborhoods in Khartoum North, the surroundings of Al-Qiyadah, the Buri neighborhood, and Riyadh."

Sky News Arabia sources also revealed that the city of Omdurman witnessed heavy air and artillery bombardment, while the Rapid Support Forces pointed the finger at the Sudanese army.

Earlier Monday, the army announced that it had destroyed the RSF's combat capability by 45 to 55 percent, after 15 days of fighting in Sudan between the two parties.

"The situation is stable in all states of Sudan," the army said in a statement, adding: "During 15 fighting days, our forces managed to reduce its combat capabilities by 40 to 55 percent."
